Full Job Description
Warehouse Operators are the heart of our distribution centers and are responsible for moving, stocking, receiving, and packing in and outbound shipments as well as assisting in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts.
Essential Duties and responsibilities*
• Operate heavy equipment to move or store inventory
• Receive and process incoming materials and packages
• Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location
• Accurately pick and fill customer orders from stock
• Move inventory throughout the facility
• Prepare products for delivery (freight, UPS, FedEx)
• Package items and ensure they’re labeled correctly
• Report damaged or missing inventory
• Data entry tasks that must be done in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory as needed
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience (3+ years) in a warehouse environment
• Hazardous material handling experience preferred
• Logistics & Supply Chain experience preferred
• Familiarity with inventory software and able to enter data in an accurate, timely manner
• Demonstrated teamwork, productivity, accuracy, dedication, and professionalism
• Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems
• Valid driver’s license
• Tow motor certification required
• Self-motivated, high energy, and engaging level of enthusiasm and positive outlook
• Strong organizational skills and legible handwriting
• Attention to detail; accurate data entry skills, basic math and reading
