100% Active Non Dust Blends (NDB’s)

Customers that require dust free environments, can utilize Addipel’s 100% active non-dust blends.  Our NDB’s feature a multiple component, fully dispersed, low dusting / compacted pellet.  Furthermore, because of our process, our 100% active non-dust blends do not heat cycle your components.  These products are friable and break down in your production process.

Polyamide Compound Heat Stabilization Systems

Addipel has a keen focus on the development of heat stabilizer packages geared toward the nylon compounding and nylon fiber markets.  These heat stabilizer packages are based on inorganic materials like cuprous iodide/potassium bromide/potassium iodide and standard organic antioxidants like AO1098 and AO1171.   We have the ability to include various other additives in a package, allowing us to bring additional value add properties to the finished compound.  Common ingredients include: EBS/Montan wax, Metallic Stearates, Nucleating Agents, Flame Retardants, and UV Absorbers.

Packaging Services

With Addipel’s dedicated bagging and bulk unloading equipment, we can easily transfer finished goods from a bulk package into a more easy to handle package size, i.e., 20-25 kg bags.  We also have the ability to pack powder or pelleted material in bags, drums, gaylords, or super sacks. Batch inclusion bags are an option, and custom packaging is also available.

Operational Headaches Associated with Inorganic Metal Salts

The inorganic materials often incorporated in these blends tend to discolor (green tint) equipment as well as cause non-stainless steel metal to rust.  Also, when phenolic AO’s are inadvertently mixed or contaminated by inorganic materials, there can be severe discoloring of the final compound, especially when the compounds are colored or natural.

We can help take these operational headaches out of your plant by minimizing the dust associated with mixing these materials and eliminating the down time associated with cleaning mixing equipment. Our low dusting, heat stabilizer additive packages offer better blend homogeneity vs. powdered blends, help minimize the dust in your plant, reduce the risk of product contamination, and help to create an overall cleaner, more productive facility.

Our Company

As an independent supplier, we are able to utilize raw materials from any source. You tell us what components you would like to use, and we use them. If you would like our recommendation, we can do that as well.

Addipel has no minimum order requirements and has structured our operation for quick turnaround times. There is no need for you to tie up working capital because our competitors force you to order 10,000 lb or 20,000 lb minimum quantities of a product that may last you for six months. We have the ability to hold inventory as well as turn an order in as little as 24 hours.

Addipel was founded in 2008 in Avon, Ohio to provide a value-add service to customers in the plastics industry.  Initially, we focused on dry blending for customers that were looking for a supplier that has quick turnaround times, was willing to produce small batches, and would formulate based on their specific needs.  Our business quickly developed to include 100% active non-dust blends and custom packaging. Customers realized the value of having a flexible, “quick to react,” entrepreneurial supplier.

Due to the expansion of our business, in 2013, we moved into our current headquarters and production facility in Avon Lake, Ohio.  We continue to focus on our fundamentals as a service-oriented manufacturer of custom products.  We manage our business by the metrics of consistent products, consistent delivery and consistent supply.
